The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) 1906 Hallmarked Silver Antique Regimental Bayonet Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce Edwardian period 'The Buffs Regiment hollow silver sweetheart brooch'; the badge of the regiment bearing Latin motto "Veteri Frondescit Honore" (Its Ancient Honour Flourishes), mounted to a miniature metford bayonet, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1906 and maker's details "MB". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
