A superb quality Elizabeth II period 'Royal Corps of Signals regimental gold and enamel brooch' depicting "Mercury" the winged messenger of the Gods, referred to by the Corps as "Jimmy"; the reverse bearing Birmingham 9ct gold hallmarks for 1984 and maker's details "G & Co Ld" (Garrard & Co, London) the Crown Jewellers. Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
