WW1 Dorsetshire Regiment 1915 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period 'Dorsetshire Regiment sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "A.Bros". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and retaining all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.
