WW1 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Silver & Gold Rifle, Scottish Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period 'Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature cap style badge, the front with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse impressed "Sterling". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and retaining all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.
