WW1 'Battle of the Somme' Swallow Bird Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period French made Battle of the Somme brooch'; ornate silver plated crescent with Swallow bird in flight resting within, together with 'forget-me-not' floral spray and gold plated title below. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minor wear to silver plating.
