A scarce original circa 1940's period fine quality 'Royal Air Force silver and enamel sweetheart brooch'; Crowned laurel wreath inlaid with green enamel "RAF" crest within on blue enamel ground, flanked by large arched feathered wings, the reverse with maker's details "J.F" (James Fenton & Co, Birmingham.) and impressed "Silver". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
