WW1 The Royal Sussex Regiment gold sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'The Royal Sussex Regiment sweetheart brooch', gold Garter Star with roussillon plume bearing the motto "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" applied to a slender bar the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold) to both parts. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
