Royal Air Force Pilot's Wing, 9 carat Gold RAF Sweetheart / Tiepin Brooch.

A fine quality circa 1940's period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch or tiepin', polished gold "RAF" crest within laurel wreath surmounted by a King's Crown, the finely feathered wings applied to a slender bar, the reverse impressed "9ct (9 carat gold). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings.
