WW2 Royal Air Force Pilot's Wing Gold & Enamel RAF Sweetheart Brooch by Thomas Lynton Mott, Birmingham.

A fine quality classical style wartime period gold and enamel 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch'; 'RAF' monogram inlaid with rich blue enamel, within laurel wreath surmounted by a King's Crown in red; flanked by neatly feathered wings, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and maker's details "T.L.M" (Thomas Lynton Mott, Birmingham). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, additional ring to accommodate a safety chain.
