A scarce original Second World War period 'WW2 Essex Regiment sweetheart brooch'; gilded brass example displaying a representation of the badge of the regiment inlaid with enamel resting on a horseshoe impressed "Good Luck". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel and complete with its original shop display card stating "British".
