A very unusual contemporary style Elizabeth II period 'Royal Air Force gold sweetheart brooch', the central rhodium plated 'RAF' crest surmounted by a stylized Queen's Crown, flanked by large feathered wings with backward facing curves to the tips, the reverse bearing London 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1994 and maker's details "BKT". Very good clean condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order.
