WW1 'John Bull Union Flag' Thumbs Fumsup Touch Wud Lucky Charm Badge.

A rare original First World War period 'Touch Wud good luck charm'; silver silhouette in the form of the character 'John Bull' complete with top hat, his bulbous body and head made of wood; the reverse with framed coloured 'Union Flag' and impressed "Silver" with “Rd No 642336”, a registered, design and patent date of 1915. Good condition, top hat with a few creases, ring now absent.
