WW1 Royal Flying Corps Silver & Enamel RFC Pilot's Wing Sweetheart Brooch.
A very unusual and rare Great War period 'Royal Flying Corps sweetheart brooch'; Crowned laurel wreath, the centre displaying an "RFC" crest on vivid blue enamel ground; attached to the tip of the crown a miniature pair of wings with matching colour all mounted to a rounded coiled end bar, very typical of the period, the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver". Very good condition.
