A scarce original First World War period 'Canadian Expeditionary Force 211th Infantry Battalion maple leaf sweetheart brooch', the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver" and maker's details "SSR". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect except for the end of right scroll,
Height 32mm.

Canadian '211th Infantry Battalion' was raised in the Province of Alberta and British Columbia. It was disbanded in 1920.
