Gordon Highlanders Silver & Enamel Scottish Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.

A good original circa 1940's period 'Gordon Highlanders silver sweetheart brooch' in the form of miniature representation of a officer's regimental cap badge, bearing the crest of the 'Marquis of Huntly,' a stag's head issuing from a Ducal Coronet within an ivy wreath, with the motto 'Bydand' below inlaid with blue enamel, the reverse impressed "Silver". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel intact.
