A stunning circa 1950's 'Patriotic Union Flag brooch'; superb quality translucent enamel example; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1950 and maker's details "JWB" (John William Barrett, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings complete with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel almost perfect condition.
