WW1 Army Remount Service Brass & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare First World War period 'Remounts Service sweetheart brooch', fashioned in brass on the style of the cap badge, a horse within a red enamelled horseshoe, superimposed over crossed whips with scroll 'Remounts' below, inlaid with blue enamel. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height 29mm.
