WW1 Devonshire Regiment 9ct Gold & Enamel Regimental Sweetheart Bar Brooch.

A fine quality First World War period 'Devonshire Regiment gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; eight pointed star surmounted by a 'King's Crown', title circlet inlaid with blue enamel with 'Exeter Castle' to the voided centre; the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety catch in good working order, enamel perfect, (light reflection only on crown), an excellent example.
