Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm pilot's wing gold FAA sweetheart brooch

A scarce circa 1940's 'Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', fouled anchor within a laurel wreath, surmounted by a King George VI Crown in red, flanked by finely feathered wings, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
