WW1 The Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry 1914 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Rifle DCLI Sweetheart Brooch.

A fine quality scarce original Great War period 'The Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature badge with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and all the gold plating to the front of the badge.
