Royal Air Force Pilot's Wing circa 1940's Gold & Enamel RAF Sweetheart Brooch.

A superb quality scarce George VI period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch', Crowned green enamel wreath mounted with rhodium plated RAF central crest, flanked by large finely feathered wings with curves to the tips,the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch in good working order, enamel perfect. Very highly reccommended.
