Merchant Navy silver and marcasite sweetheart brooch

A good quality Second World War period 'Merchant Navy silver and enamel sweetheart brooch', naval crowned oval roped border with "MN" to centre, applied to an ornate surround, set with marcasite stones; the reverse impressed "Sterling" and with maker's details "TLM" (Thomas Lynton Mott) within an artist's palette. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, enamel perfect, complete with all stones.
