WW1 R.N.D. Drake Battalion 1914 Hallmarked Silver & Gold Sweetheart Brooch.

An extremely fine and rare First World War 'R.N.D. Drake Battalion sweetheart brooch'; hollow silver oval example, the anchor and title enhanced with gold plating, the reverse bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "R.J.W" (Richard John Wakefield, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortions and complete with all bauble adornments.
