WW1 'Machine Gun Corps' Good Luck Horseshoe Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare original Great War period 'Machine Gun Corps gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch'; silver plated example, the regimental badge depicting crossed vickers guns surmounted by a crown mounted on a rare green enamel "Good Luck" horseshoe, facing downward as they did at that time. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, silver plated finish with minor wear.
