'Royal Navy H.M.S. Nelson' Lifebouy Anchor Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original circa 1930's 1940's period 'HMS Nelson sweetheart brooch'; gilded brass example bearing the ship's crest mounted on an anchor incorporating a lifebouy and beautifully enamelled in vivid red, blue and green colours. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, an excellent example.
Height 37mm.

'HMS Nelson' was a Nelson-class battleship built for the Royal Navy and was in service between 1927–1948. She was sold for scrapping in 1949.
