WW1 Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), 1916 Hallmarked Silver Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period 'Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) silver sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniatue representation of the officer's cap badge depicting the badge of the Regiment a Mullet from the 'Coat of Arms of the Douglas family' above a strung bugle within thistle spray wreath; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details "S&Co" (Sydney & Co Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
