A scarce original Great War period 'Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart brooch'; silver and enamel example in the form of a miniature representation of the cap badge, enhanced with blue enamel to the title circlet; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details "Lambourne & Co Birmingham. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, slight wear to highpoints
