WW1 Royal Air Force Pilot's Wing Transitional Period 15ct Gold & Diamond RAF Sweetheart Brooch.

An exceptional looking, superb quality circa 1918 transitional period 'Royal Air Force diamond sweetheart brooch', early style finely feathered large arched wings, the central 'RAF' crest set with diamonds, within a green transluscent enamel laurel wreath, surmounted by a King's Crown, the reverse impressed "15ct" (15 carat gold). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch in good working order, enamel perfect, complete with all stones.
