A scarce original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '203rd Infantry Overseas Battalion sweetheart brooch' in the form of a fine quality gilded brass maple leaf inlaid with blue enamel decoration, the reverse with maker's details "Birks". Very good condition, complete with original pin fttings, enamel perfect.
