WW1 HMT Yokohama Hired Trawler Admiralty No 1227 Minesweeper 9 Carat Gold Anchor Brooch.

A rare original Great War period 1915 -1919 hire trawler 'H.M.T. Yokohama sweetheart brooch'; hollow gold example in the form of a fouled anchor; the reverse impressed "9ct" ( 9 carat gold) and maker's details "F.H.M" (Frank H Mannox, Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no dents or distortions, an excellent example.
