A fine quality 'Royal Navy and Merchant Services nautical crown brooch' the sails with suberb translucent enamelling and set with seventeen pearls; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1987 and maker's details "JWB" (J W Benson Ltd London). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect and complete with all pearls.
