Highland Light Infantry enamel sweetheart brooch

A pretty and unusual Second World War period 'Highland Light Infantry sweetheart brooch' in the form of a chromium plated miniature representation of the regiments cap badge being a 'Thistle Star' bearing Crown, coiled bugle with central "HLI" cypher and "Assaye" scroll with elephant below, mounted within a voided thistle wreath. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
