Royal Air Force lucky horseshoe RAF bow sweetheart brooch

A very unusual original wartime period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch', gilded brass horseshoe mounted with a miniature pair of pilot wings and suspended from a gilt bow so typical of the period. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, the gilt finish to each part a little mismatched in colour.
