Canadian CEF 24th Infantry Battalion sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '24th Victoria Rifles Canada gilt and enamel maple leaf sweetheart brooch' displaying blue enamel maltese cross '24' to the centre on white enamel ground disc with 'Pro Aris Et Focis' motto below. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
