Royal Army Medical Corps Stretcher Bearer RAMC 1915 silver sweetheart brooch

A very rare original First World War period 'Royal Army Medical Corps sweetheart brooch' depicting a Crowned "Rod of Asclepius" within laurel sprays resting on blue enamel title scroll and mounted an army stretcher, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details 'E.A.P&Co'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with heavy service wear.
