Women's Royal Naval Service 1956 WRNS hallmarked gold brooch

A scarce original Second World War period fine quality 'Women's Royal Naval Servicegold and enamel brooch'; fouled anchor mounted with 'Naval Crown', the topmost ring with 'Jenny Wren' and to the base a W.R.N.S. scroll inlaid with blue enamel and mounted on a slender bar; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat hallmaks for 1956 and maker's details 'J.W.B'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
