WW1 Battle of Ypres French sweetheart brooch

A scarce original Great War period battle brooch, ornate gilt and enamel filigree crescent with th'Crowned 'Royal Arms' resting within, below the suspended gilt letters 'YPRES'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor loss to hand painted enamel finish, gilt remains bright.
Height approx 42mm.
