Royal Air Force pilot's wing silver RAF sweetheart brooch

A scarce wartime period 'Royal Air Force silver sweetheart brooch'; 'RAF' crest inlaid with blue enamel within laurel wreath surmounted by a King's Crown, flanked by large highly defined feathered wings; the reverse impressed "Sterling" and with maker's initials 'TLM' within artist's palette (Thomas Lynton Mott, Birmingham). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
