A scarce original Second World War period 'Royal Air Force sweetheart brooch'; King George VI crowned strap bearing 'RAF' motto 'Per Ardua ad Astra' (Through adversity to the stars) eagle to voided centre and mounted on mother of pearl disc. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
