A scarce Victorian '1st Battalion The York & Lancaster Regiment sweetheart brooch'; white metal example displaying an embossed badge of the regiment set within an engraved plaited edge with floral decoration; the hollow silver backing with impressed maker's details 'F.N' (F Narborough Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting.
