Coldstream Guards 1970 silver officer's forage cap badge

A fine quality circa 1970's period 'Coldstream Guards officer's forage cap badge', faceted Garter Star mounted with domed pierced Garter on a blue enamel ground, the central Cross of St. George on red translucent enamel; the reverse impressed Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1970 and maker's details 'JRG' (J.R.Gaunt). Good condition, complete with original two loop fittings, some old restoration to top of Garter
