Canadian Machine Gun Corps silver sweetheart brooch

A scarce original First World War period 'Canadian Machine Gun Corps sweetheart brooch', maple leaf pattern design, superimposed with crossed vickers guns, surmounted by a Crown, with blue enamel 'Canada' scroll below; the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver' and with maker's details 'SSP' in a shield. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
