A rare superb quality '12th Frontier Force Regiment sweetheart brooch'; Crowned strung bugle with '12' between the strings, with ribbon scrolls 'F.F. Regt.' entwined with the bugle and enhanced with red translucent enamel; the reverse impressed '14ct' (14 carat gold) a post 1931 mark. Very good condition, complete wih original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel intact and housed in a velvet lined fitted leather case with the retailer's details 'By Appointment to the H.M The King' 'The Goldsmiths & Siversmiths Company Ltd. 112, Regent St. London.
