Royal Navy HMS Shropshire ships crest silver badge

A scarce original pre 1942 'Royal Navy H.M.S.Shropshire sweetheart brooch', the crest inlaid with blue enamelling and mounted on a slender bar, the reverse impressed 'Silver'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.

HMS Shropshire served with the Royal Navy until 1942, when she was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy to become HMAS Shropshire.
