Royal Flying Corps pilot's wing silver RFC sweetheart brooch

A rare original First World War period 'Royal Flying Corps silver sweetheart brooch' the silver wing set within an unusual oval black enamelled ground (possibly indicating the loss of a loved one), the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with graze lower left.
