Royal Army Medical Corps diamanté sweetheart brooch by Ciro London

A fine quality rhodium plated circa 1940's superb 'Royal Army Medical Corps sweetheart brooch', made from numerous parts and depicting a Crowned 'Rod of Asclepius' within laurel sprays profusely decorated with imitation diamonds, the 'In Arduis Fidelis' scroll below inlaid with the finest blue enamelling; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'SCP' (Ciro, London). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect and complete with all stones.
