A fine quality original Victorian period 'Prince of Wales's Volunteers sweetheart brooch'; 'Sphinx' on Egypt tablet within laurel sprays surmounted by 'Prince of Wales's Plumes' all resting on title scroll '1st South Lancashire Regiment' and set in large unmarked ornate hollow silver surround. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, old brass replacement hook, complete with all baubles, some minor dents to reverse.
