17/21st Lancers 1968 diamond regimental brooch

A superb quality Elizabeth II period bespoke '17/21st Lancers diamond set gold and enamel brooch', superimposed on crossed lances, the pennons inlaid with red and white enamel, a diamond encrusted skull on crossed bones with '17' below resting on 'Or Glory' blue enamel scroll; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1968 and maker's details 'J.W.B' (J W Benson Ltd London.'. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel intact.
