Royal Army Ordnance Corps 1960 gold regimental brooch by Garrard

A superb quality Elizabeth II period Royal Army Ordnance Corps gold and enamel sweetheart brooch, with 'Sua Tela Tonanti' scrolls, hand made from two parts and applied to a slender bar, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1960 and maker's details 'G & Co Ld' in trefoil (Garrard & Co London ) the Crown Jewellers. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in perfect working order, enamel intact. Housed in its original velvet lined leather presentation case in very clean condition with details to the lid 'By appointment to H.M The Queen" "Goldsmiths & Crown Jewellers Garrard & Co Ltd 112, Regent Street.
