A scarce original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force 'CEF 51st Infantry Battalion silver and enamel sweetheart brooch'; maple leaf pattern bearing crowned 'Edmonton' white enamel title and 'OVER 51 SEAS', the reverse impressed 'Sterling'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
